Tracts and nerves are the different types of nerve fibers which are present in the nervous system. They are formed by combination of different nerve fibers or axons. A tract is actually a collection of nerve fibers which are axons in the central nervous system while nerve is the collection of nerve fibers which are axons in the peripheral nervous system.
