Lymph is defined as the fluid that is present in the interstitial spaces between the cells and it circulates through the lymphatic system. The function of lymph is to exchange various metabolites, waste products and gases. Plasma, on the other hand, is a pale yellowish colored fluid that constitutes the blood that regulates the transport of glucose, fatty acids and also maintains blood pH level. Blood contain about 30 to 35% of plasma.
