The trees of Tropical Evergreen Forests don't shed their leaves at the same time but the trees of Tropical Deciduous Forests shed their leaves at a particular season ie, the dry season to prevent loss of water through transpiration

a. Tropical Evergreen Forests and Tropical Deciduous forests:
- Tropical Evergreen forests flourish in the region which receives rainfall greater than 200 cm a year. Leaves do not shed from the tress present in Tropical Evergreen forests.
- Tropical Deciduous forests are mainly found in a region which receives rainfall ranging from 70 cm to 200 cm a year. Trees in deciduous forests shed their leaves in winters.
b. National Park and Govt. sanctuaries:
- Wildlife sanctuaries are the areas declared by government or private agencies as protected areas for specific animals and birds. They are protected in native habitat. The restrictions on accessibility are highly strict in National Parks. Also, their boundaries are fixed through law.
- National Parks are declared by the government for protection of flora, fauna and complete ecosystem of the place including landscape as well.
