Tropical rain forest
Tropical rain forest is a broad term. It means, in the tropical areas if rainfall is pretty good (greater than 100cm annually) then we can easily find 'tropical rain forests'.
Tropical rain forests are also called as 'moist tropical forest. (In tropical region there can be either moist tropical forest or dry tropical forest depending on the average rainfall)
Tropical rain forest have following four categories- tropical wet evergreen (>250 cm) , tropical semi evergreen (200–250 cm), tropical moist deciduous (100–200 cm), littoral and swamp (100–300 cm).
Montane vegetation
-They are found in hilly areas having a high altitude.
2-The wet temperate forests are found between 1000-2000 meters.
3-More than 3000 meters give the way to alpine vegetation.
4-These forests are mostly used by Gujjar shephards.
5-Trees found are birchona, pine, fur, etc.
6- Animals found are-Tibetan antelope,yak,sheeps,goats,rare red panda etc.
