UNION LIST:-
1. It includes 97 subjects of national importance.
2. Only parliament has the exclusive power legislate on them.
3. Example:- defence, foriegn affairs, war and peace etc.
STATE LIST:-
1. It includes 66 subjects of local importance.
2. The state legislature has the exclusive power to make laws on these subjects.But on certain circumstances,the parliament can make laws on these subjects.
3. Example:- police, local government, agriculture.
CONCURRENT LIST:-
1. It has 52 subjects.
2. The parliament as well as state legislature both make laws on it.
3. Example:-marriage and divorce,labour welfare etc.

- The state list contains 66 subjects.
- The State Legislature have power to make laws on them. But in certain circumstances Parliament can also make laws on them.
