Therefore, 1/8 x (1/9 + 1/10) = (1/8 x 1/9) + (1/8 x 1/10)

LHS,

1/8 x (1/9 + 1/10) = 1/8 x ((10+9)/(9×10))

= 1/8 x (19/90)

= (19/720)

RHS,

(1/8 x 1/9) + (1/8 x 1/10) = (1/9×8) + (1/10×8)

= (1/72) + (1/40 )

=(1+18/720) = 19/720

Therefore, RHS = LHS, distributive property proved.
