Distringuish between emf and potential difference

Hey friend,
Emf is the electromotive force that provide a battery or cell energy of per coulomb charge passing through it.It is equal to the potential across the terminal of a cell.
Whereas potential difference is the charge created by an electric cell that is measured between the two terminal of a cell.
