distuinguish anaerobic and a
erobic respiration?

Aerobic respiration:
1. Axygen is required for aerobic respiration.
2. Aerobic respiration takes place in nucleus as well as in cytoplasm.
3. Energy is produced in large amount in aerobic respiration.
4. Glucose is completely oxidized in aerobic respiration
5. 38 molecules of ATP are formed during aerobic respiration.
6. Chemical reaction: C6 H12 O6+ ->6H2O+6CO2+686Kcal.

Anarobic respiration:
1. Oxygen is not required for anarobic respiration.
2. Anarobic respiration occurs only in the cytoplasm.
3. At the end of anarobic respiration CO2 and C2H5OH are formed.
4. Glucose is incompetently oxidized in anarobic respiration.
5. 2 molecules of ATP are formed during anaerobic respiration.
7. Chemical reaction:
C6 H12 O6 -> 2 C2H5OH+ 2 CO2 +50Kcal.
