i) It carries de-oxygenated blood to the lungs.

ii) It has thick elastic walls.

iii) Valves are not present.

Pulmonary Vein:-
i) It carries oxygenated blood from lungs to the heart.

ii) Pulmonary vein has thin walls than Pulmonary artery.

iii) Valves are present to restrict the flow of blood in backward direction.
