You can divide 180 into 64 and 116.
116-64=52
116+64=180
Let second number be x and first number be 2x-12
=> 3x-12=180
=>x=64
=>first number is 64 and second number is 116

\huge\mathfrak{Solution:}

Let one number be = x

Other part = (180-x)

According to the question :-

2(180-x)-x=12

360-2x-x=12

-3x=12-360

-3x= -348

 - x =   \frac{ - 348}{3}

 - x =  - 116

x = 116

Hence,

x= 116

(180-x) =64
