quotient = 2x² - 2x + 6 and remainder = -21

we have to divide 22x + 8x³ - 6x² - 15 by 1 + 4x using long division method

1 + 4x)22x + 8x³ - 6x² - 15 ( 2x² - 2x + 6

8x³ + 2x²

-8x² + 22x

-8x² - 2x

+ 24x - 15

24x + 6

-21

hence, quotient = 2x² - 2x + 6 and remainder = -21
