Answer:

The shares are -

  • A = 1270
  • B = 770
  • C = 520

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Total = Rs. 2560

B gets = 250 more than C

A gets = 500 more than B

To find :

Amount with A,B and C

Solution :

Let The shares be -

  • C as y
  • B as (y + 250)
  • A as (y + 250) + 500

\implies y + (y + 250) (y + 250) + 500 = 2560

\implies 3y + 1000 = 2560

\implies 3y = 2560 - 1000

\implies 3y = 1560

\implies y = 1560/3

\implies y = 520

C's share = 520

\rule{300}{1.5}

B's share -

\implies 520 + 250

\implies 770

\rule{300}{1.5}

A's share -

\implies 520 + 250 + 500

\implies 770 + 500

\implies 1270

\therefore The shares are -

  • A = 1270
  • B = 770
  • C = 520

Question :--- Divide 2560 into three parts A, B and C where B gots 250 more than C and A gets 500 more than B. Find the amount A. B and C got, respectively. ?

Solution :---

Let amount of Rs. C got = Rs. X .

it is given that now, B got 250 more than C .

→ So, amount B got = Rs. (x + 250)

now, it is said that , A got 500 more than B .

→ So, amount A got = Rs.(x+250) + 500 = Rs.(x+750) .

It is given that , total amount is Rs.2560 .

Putting all values Equal to 2560 now, we get,

x + (x+250) + (x+750) = 2560

→ 3x + 1000 = 2560

→ 3x = 2560 - 1000

→ 3x = 1560

Dividing both sides by 3 now,

x = 520 .

Now, putting all values we get,

So, C got = x = Rs.520 (Ans).

B got = (x+250) = (520+250) = Rs.770

A got = (x+750) = (520+750) = Rs. 1270 .

Hence, Amount Got by A, B and C is Rs.1270 , Rs.770 and Rs.520 respectively .
