26 can be divided as 15 and 11. sum of squares of 15 and 11 is 225 and 121 , which total gives 346.

shivapriya123: I want this in equation form
shivapriya123: even I got direct answer
sridharkannan9pc1jre: From your statement, equation must be X + Y = 26 , X^2 + Y^2 = 346
assuming X and Y as 15 & 11, it satisfies the equation.
15^2 + 11^2 = 346
225 + 121 = 346
LHS = RHS. (To my knowledge)

Let one part be x and the other be 26-x
ACQ,
X^2 + (26-X)^2 = 346
X^2 + x^2 + 676 - 52x = 346
2x^2 - 52x + 330 = 0
=> x^2 - 26x + 165 = 0
X^2 - 15x - 11x + 165 =0
X ( x - 15) - 11x (x - 15) =0
(x-15)(x-16) =0
X = 15
X = 11
Therefore the two parts of 26 are 15 and 11
{15 + 11 = 26}
