Divide 38 into two parts such that one part is 18 more than the other.Find the value of the two parts.​

the two parts are = x & (x+18)

x+(x+18)= 38

or, 2x= 38-18

or, x= 20/2

or, x= 10

so, x+ 18= 28

The two numbers are 10 & 28.
