Let one number be 'x'

therefore, other number will be 51-x

(x) (51-x)=560

51x- x^{2} =560

taking 51x -  x^{2} onthe right side we get

x^{2} - 51x + 560 = 0

x^{2} - (35+16)x +560 = 0

x^{2} - 35x - 16x + 560 = 0

x(x-35) - 9 (x-16) = 0

(x-35) (x-16) = 0

x-35=0        x-16=0

x=35         x=16

Therefore x can be 35,16

if one number is 35, then the other numberis 16.

X^2-52X+560=0

(X-16)(X-35)=0

X=(16). 35
