Solution:

Let 581 be divided into 3 parts such that 4 times the first make equal to 5 times the second and 7 times the third​

Let the first part be "x"

Let the second part be "y"

Let the third part be "z"

By given,

4x = 5y = 7z

4x = 5y\\\\y = \frac{4x}{5} ------ eqn\ 1

4x = 7z\\\\z = \frac{4x}{7} ---- eqn\ 2

We know,

581 = x + y + z\\\\Substitute\ eqn\ 1\ and\ eqn\ 2\\\\581 = x + \frac{4x}{5} + \frac{4x}{7}\\\\35x + 28x +20x = 581 \times 35\\\\83x = 581 \times 35\\\\x = 245

Substitute\ x = 245\ in\ eqn\ 1\\\\y = \frac{4 \times 245}{5}\\\\y = 196\\\\Substitute\ x = 245\ in\ eqn\ 2\\\\z = \frac{ 4 \times 245 }{7}\\\\z = 140
