Let C gets x.   ---- (1)

Given, B gets 50% of x = 50x/100 =  x/2.   ---- (2)

Given, A gets 50% of x/2 = 50x/200= x/4. ---- (3)

On solving (1),(2),(3) with 7000 rupees

x/4 + x/2 + x =7000 

(x+2x+4x)/4=7000 

7x/4=7000 

x= 4000.

C gets rs 4000
 
A gets 2000 rupees.

B gets 1000 rupees.

Let amount given to B be b

Let amount given to C be c

According to the question,

a + b + c = 7000

a = 0.5b

b = 0.5c

therefore, a = 0.25c

so,

0.25c + 0.5c + c = 7000

1.75c = 7000

c = 7000÷1.75 = 4000

b = 0.5c = 2000

a = 0.5b = 1000

Therefore, A received Rs. 1000, B received Rs. 2000 and C received Rs. 4000.
