 \frac{{a}^{3} - 14 {a}^{2} + 37a - 26 }{a - 2 }
now divide it
first multiply with a^2 to a-2
then subtract it
the remainder left is
 \frac{ - 12 {a}^{2} + 37a - 26 }{a - 2}
now multiply with -6a
then subtract it
the remainder left is
 \frac{13a - 26}{a - 2}
now multiply with 13
then subtract it
the remainder left is
 \frac{0}{a - 2}
and quotient is
 {a}^{2} - 6a + 13
