Answer:-

 \bf \: g(y) = y + 1

 \bf \: g(y) = 0

 \bf \: y + 1 = 0

 \bf \: y =  - 1

\bf \purple{p( - 1) =  {4( - 1)}^{2}  - ( -  1) + 2}

\bf \purple{p( - 1) = 4(1) + 1 + 2}

\bf \purple{p( - 1) = 4 + 1 + 2}

 \bf \purple{p( - 1) = 7}
