Let share of A be 'a' and share if B be 'b'.

According to the given condition,

•3/4 a = 3/5 b + 24

•3/4 a - 3/5 b - 24 = 0

•(15a-12b-480)/20=0

•15a-12b-480=0

Dividing throughout by 3

•5a-4b-160=0

•5a=4b+160

•a=(4b+160)/5 ...(1)

Also,

°a+b=500 (Given) ...(2)

°(4b+160)/5 + b = 500 (From (1))

°(4b+160+5b)/5 = 500

°9b + 160 = 2500

°9b = 2340

°b=260.

Substituting value of 'b' in equation (2)

✓a + 260 = 500

✓a = 240.

a=Rs.240 and b=Rs.260.
