Solution:

We are given that share is in the ratio of 1:2:3

Let the ratio be x

A’s share = x  

B’s share = 2x

C’s share = 3x

We are given that the total amount is 642

So, x+2x+3x=642

6x=642

$x=\frac{642}{6}$

x=107

A’s share = x =107

B’s share = 2x=2(107)=214

C’s share = 3x=3(107)=321

Hence The share of A , b and C are Rs.107 , Rs.214 and Rs.321 respectively.
