Divide rs 7400 among three people a,b and c in the ratio 3 : 5 : 12

Let the ratio be 3x, 5x and 12x

3x + 5x + 12 x = 7400
20x = 7400
x = 370

3x = 3 × 370 = 1,110
5x = 370×5 =1,850
12x = 370×12=4,440
