To divide the money or anything between 2 people follow this formula:
  
Amount given/Sum of ratios

225/7+8
225/15
=15

Now Multiply the answer with both the numbers.

15*7 and 15*8

105 and 120

So Kanchan will get Rs. 105 and Riya will get Rs.120
