Ratio of shares divided between A

and B = 8 : 5

Sum of the ratio = 8 + 5 = 13

13 parts = 520

1 part = 520 / 13

= 40

Therefore ,

A share = 8 parts

= 8 × 40

= Rs 320

B share = 5 parts

= 5 × 40

= Rs 200
