Weapons as we know them were designed for the security of humanity. But now we have witnessed what a wrong use of science can result it and we have witnessed it not once but twice. The two World wars were witness of the the amount of destruction a war can cause.
But even at that time when technology was not much developed such a devastating event took place like America's bombing of nuclear bombs on cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki of Japan in wich the current generation is still suffering. But now when the technology develops day by day such a war could have a alarming rate of destruction which could possibly lead to extinction of the entire human race.
Such use weapons and mass destruction would lead to turning of earth into a ball of dust it used to be in the beginning of its life.
In conclusion weapons and mass destruction would surely bring about the end of the world.
