$\bf \: g(x) = x - 1$

$\bf \: g(x) = 0$

$\bf \: x - 1 = 0$

$\bf \: x = 1$

Sub x=1 in p(x).

$\bf \purple{p(1) = 3 {(1)}^{4} - {4(1)}^{3} - {3(1)}^{2} - 1}$

$\bf \purple{p(1) = 3 - 4 - 3 - 1}$

$\bf \purple{p(1) = 3 - 8}$

$\bf \purple{p(1) = - 5}$
