Given-

Find-

Division of  the sum of 2 1/4 and 5 1/5 and the product of 2 1/2 and 2/3

Solution-

The sum of 2 1/4 and 5 1/5 -

⇒ 2 1/4 = 9 / 4        and       5 1/5 = 26 / 5

⇒ 9 / 4 + 26 / 5

⇒ 45 + 104 / 20

⇒ 149 / 20

The product of 2 1/2 and 2/3 will be-

⇒ 2 1/2 = 5 / 2    and     2/3

⇒ 5 / 2 × 2 / 3

⇒ 10 / 6

∴ Division of 149 / 20 and 10 / 6 will be-

⇒ 149/20 / 10/6

⇒ 149/20 × 6/10

⇒ 894 / 200

Therefore, Division of  the sum of 2 1/4 and 5 1/5 and product of 2 1/2 and 2/3 is 894/200.
