Divide the total profit of Rs 2400 among A,B and C in proportional to their capital of Rs.3600:Rs.4800:Rs.6000 respectively.

Answer:

capital = Rs.3600:Rs.4800:Rs.6000

ratio of captial = 3x : 4x : 5x (= 12 x)

Total profit = Rs . 2400

We have divide profit in above ratios.

profit \: of \: a \:  =  \frac{3}{12}  \times 2400 = 600

profit \: of \: b \:  =  \frac{4}{12}  \times 2400 = 800

profit \: of \: c \:  =  \frac{5}{12}  \times 2400 = 1000

Profit of A, B, C is Rs. 600, Rs. 800, Rs. 1000 respectively.
