Answer:

To divide (x² - 4) by (x + 2)

So , the process by which we can divide is similar to division we had learn in junier classes

here x² - 4 will be divided by (x + 2)

Rest solution is in image

Now here the answer is (x - 2) and it is cometely divided So , there is no remainder

Now checking

As we knoe to check we do as follow

Diviser × divident + remainder

(x + 2) × (x - 2) + 0

= x² - 2x + 2x - 4

= x² - 4

So the quotient is same so our (x - 2) is correct ..
