x⁴ -3x² +4x +5 divided by (x² -x +1)

x²-x +1 ) x⁴-3x² + 4x +5 ( x² +x -3

x⁴ -x³ +x²
==============
x³ -4x² + 4x
x³ -x² + x
==========
-3x² +3x + 5
-3x² +3x -3
==============
8

hence, quotient = x² + x -3

and remainder = 8
