If a word is misspelled in the dictionary, how would we ever know?

If a word is misspelled in the dictionary it's not important that all the dictionaries would have the same misspell .So we can go through different dictionaries or browse through net.

If u think any word is misspelled in the dictionary then go to another but of different publisher and check it out going to same publisher may not help because maybe the typing would be the same.
