By remainder Theorem ;
Here dividend=3x2+4x+1 and divisior= x+1
=) Put divisior =0
= x+1=0
=x= (-1)
=)Let p(x)= 3x2+4x+1
put x=(-1) in p(x) we get ,
p(-1) =3(-1)2+4(-1)
=)3 -4+1
=) -1+1
=)0
Thus, remainder is 0.
Hope it Helps..
