  1. The quotient of a positive integer and negative integer is negative.
  2. The quotient of two positive integers is positive.
  3. The quotient of two negative integers is negative.

Example:

  1. (-8)/(+4)=-2 2. (-12)+(+6)=-2
  2. (+6)/(-3)=-2 2. (+24)/(-6)=-4
  3. (-9)/(+3)=+3 2. (+16)/(-4)=+4
  4. (-6)/(-2)= +3 2. (-42)/(-7)=+6

Hope it helps you.....
