for example take a integer -8 now divide it by -2 we get -8/-2= 4.

- The quotient of a positive integer and negative integer is negative.
- The quotient of two positive integers is positive.
- The quotient of two negative integers is negative.
Example:
- (-8)/(+4)=-2 2. (-12)+(+6)=-2
- (+6)/(-3)=-2 2. (+24)/(-6)=-4
- (-9)/(+3)=+3 2. (+16)/(-4)=+4
- (-6)/(-2)= +3 2. (-42)/(-7)=+6
