For example 

The mitichondrion works to breakdown sugar and store released energy in the form of ATP which is more commonly called energy currency and less commonly the actual food of various components of cell,as it is used for all anabolic reactions and energy requiring activities inside the  cell

Coordination centre- in humans brain is coordination centre , but in bacteria ,nucleus performs most if its functions.From coordinating cell growth with the reproduction ,  nucleus takes load of transfering stimulus at receptors to effector  I.e new effector proteion production by activation of special gene 
Endoskeleton-the   fibers of actin ,myoteme etc form the endo skeleton and help cell maintain its shape 
Making of food - chloroplast containing chlorophyll synthesis there own food
