What is the question? I mean what do we have to find out?

dividend = divisor \times quotient + remainder

2 = (x - 2)( {x}^{2}  + 2x + 3) + 0

2 =  {x}^{3}  + 2 {x}^{2}  + 3x - 2 {x}^{2}  - 4x - 6

 { x}^{3}  - x - 6 = 2

 {x}^{3}  - x = 2 + 6

 { x}^{3}  - x = 8

x( {x}^{2}  - 1) = 8

from  \: this \: we \: get \: 2 \: values \: of \: x

x = 8

 {x}^{2}  = 8 + 1

 {x}^{2}  = 9

x =  \sqrt{9}

x =  + 1 \: or \:  - 1
