Red blood cells are disc-shaped because they have more membrane then needed for the volume they hold, so they are like a balloon that has been flattened. This makes them very flexible, allowing them to fold over on themselves to squeeze through capillaries that are smaller then the red cells. This also means that the red cell and capillary walls are in intimate contact for exchange of oxygen, CO2, and signaling agents.

An example of a dative covalent bond is provided by the interaction between a molecule of ammonia, a Lewis base with a lone pair of electrons on the nitrogen atom, and boron trifluoride, a Lewis acid by virtue of the boron atom having an incomplete octet of electrons.

A dative bond is a covalent bond between two atoms where one of the atoms provides both electrons that form the bond. A dative bond is also known as a dipolar bond or coordinate bond. Also we can say that a covalent bond forms when two atoms share electrons..........
