all The buisness entities which are registered with The securities and exchange commission Had to get engaged in financial reporting .otherwise The stand alone buisness do not need That.

It is not necessary for all business entities to engage in financial reporting. The simple reason for this ths that financial reporting is necessary for only those business entities which are large corporates and various investors have invested their money in them.
The investors need to be informed about the financial condition of the organisation. Small business entties are not supposed to engage in financial reporting.
