Hi friend ,

It is not true that all the matter have more than one state.

Matter is something which occupies space and has mass.

For ex: Let us take a matter table ,it's state is solid .Hence,it has only one state i.e. solid.

It is not true that all matter have more than one state. Matter is a thing that occupies space and have mass too. There are five states of matter gas, liquid, solid, plasma and BEC. There are some matter which have more than one state like water it is liquid at room temperature, solid when in the form of ice and gaseous in the form of vapours. But let's take example of chair, table, door, television they are all of one state that is solid.
