☺ ☺ ĐO all metals liberate hydrogen gas from dilute acids? ☺ ☺


Anonymous: Active metals such as Na, K and moderately active metals such as Mg, Al, zn, Fe reacts with dil acids to produce h2 gas. Less active metals like Ag, Au ,Pl do not liberate h2 gas.

Poorly active metals such as platinum, silver, gold etc do not liberate H2 on reacting with dilute acids. ... Some noble metals are gold, silver and platinum which do not liberate hydrogen from dilute acids. Reactive metals like zinc etc liberate hydrogen

No........ Not all metals react with Dilute acids...... Metals like mercury, copper, silver and gold do not react with dilute acids.

● Zn + 2HCl ----------> ZnCl2 + H2
● Fe + 2HCl -----------> FeCl2 + H2
