No, some substances don't change there state from solid to liquid, like iron don't change from solid to liquid ...because steel change its volume and expand because of its flexibility on heating.

Solid :- The constituent particle are very colsely packed , intermolecular forces are strong and intermolecular distances are very small in solid .

in Liquid , and gases compare to solid , the constituent particles are not very close , intermolecular forces are not very strong and intermolecular distance are not very small .
order of intermolecular distance in three states are :-
solid < liquid < gases

Generally we know ,
if we give heat to solid , after sometimes solid convert in liquid due to after heating intermolecular force will be weak and molecule will far each other .
similarly if we heat liquid , it converts gases .

but some substance ( e.g wood , ) which are solid , but after heating it doesn't convert into liquid .

so, we can't say all substance change from solid to liquid and liquid to gases after heating .
