Do fimbriae can collect the egg, when the egg is released from another side of the ovary?

Fimbriae are finger like projections present at ends of fallopian tubes which collects the ovum released.

Fimbriae are present on either sides of ovary,so when ovum or egg is released the respective side fimbriae catches the egg
