Differences between CONCAVE MIRROR & CONVEX MIRROR:
Convex mirrors:
- Convex mirrors are diverging mirror which are able to produce virtual, erect and diminished images irrespective of the position of the object.
Concave mirrors:
- Concave mirrors are converging mirrors which are able to produce different type of images based on the position of the object from the mirror.
- When object is between pole and focus: Image is virtual, erect and magnified.
- When object is between focus and centre of curvature : Image is real, inverted and beyond the centre of curvature.
- When object is beyond centre of curvature: Image is real, inverted and in between the centre of curvature and focus.
Hope It Helps.
