Do girls get similar opportunities for further studies as boys ?

ya in my religion girls get equal opportunity but in some places of India now also there is not similar opportunity for girls...
ya because study is everything but not only boys girls also strongly preferred....

In my region, they get similar Opportunities as Boys, I think today , in urban areas there's no discrimination between boys amd girls, but yeah in rural areas and in poor families people still don't wanna send their girls to school, our government should make education for girls in rural areas free and organise awawareness camps to motivate people to send girl child to school.
