do heavier objects fall more slowly than lighter objects?

No heavy things don't fall faster than the lighter ones. In earth surface due to air resistance the object having greater surface area faces great air resistance. due to air resistance objects like feather falls slowly.

No, for any objects falling under free gravity it doesn't depend on mass
As we know,
S = ut + 1/2at^2 here u = 0
S = 1/2at^2 due to fall under gravity a = g
t = √(2S/g)
So time do not depend on mass
