Isobars are atoms of different chemical elemants that have the same number of nucleons. Correspondingly, isobars differ in atomic no. (or number of protons) but have the same mass no. An example of a series of isobars would be 40S, 40Cl, 40Ar, 40K, and 40Ca.

I think no , isobars are atoms of different element having different atomic number and same mass number
example:Calcium and Argon mass is 40u but atomic number is 20 and 18 respectively
