Hey mate, here is your answer -:)

___________________________

 {3x}^{2}  + 11x  - 4 \\  {3x}^{2}  + (12 - 1)x - 4 \\  {3x}^{2}  + 12x - x - 4 \\ 3x(x + 4)  - 1(x + 4) \\ (3x - 1)( x +  4)

Answer- The above expression needs to be factorised.

⇒ 3x²+11x-4

We will factorize it using Sum-Product method or Middle-Term Splitting.

Sum= +11

Product= 3×-4= -12

Factors of 12= 1×12, 2×6, 3×4

But we need to see that which pair will give the sum or difference as 11 and clearly, it's 1 and 12.

So, sum can be written as 12-1 which is equal to 11.

⇒ 3x²+11x-4

= 3x² + (12-1)x -4

= 3x² + 12x -1x -4

(Finding out the common factors)

= 3x(x+4)-1(x+4)

= (x+4) (3x-1)

So, 3x²+11x-4=  (x+4) (3x-1)

Hope it helps!
