Given
=> x² + 3ax + 2a
Factor given => x - 2 = 0
=> x = 2
So,
=> (2)² + 3(2)a + 2a = 0
=> 4 + 6a + 2a = 0
=> 8a = -4
=> a = -1/2. ....Ans
