GIVEN :-

  • Dimensions of rectangle are 100 cm × 80 cm

TO FIND :-

  • Ratio of length to it's breadth
  • Ratio of breadth to its perimeter

SOLUTION :-

  • We have Dimensions of rectangle as 100 cm × 80 cm

From this ,

  • Length = 100 cm
  • Breadth = 80 cm

Perimeter of a rectangle is given by ,

 \large  {\underline{\boxed {\bigstar{\red {\sf{ \: p = 2(l + b)}}}}}}

Where ,

  • l is length of rectangle
  • b is breadth of rectangle

 \implies \sf \: p = 2(100 + 80) \\  \\  \implies \sf \: p = 2(180) \\  \\  \implies  {\underline {\boxed {\blue{\sf {\: p = 360 \: cm}}}}}

(1) Ratio of length to its breadth

\sf \:ratio \: of \: length \: to \: its \: breadth     \sf \:  =  100 : 80   \\  \\  \implies {\underline {\boxed {\blue {\sf{ratio \: of \: length \: to \: its \: breadth = 5 :4}}}}}

(2) Ratio of breadth to it's perimeter

 \sf \: ratio \: of \: breadth \: to \: its  \: perimeter = 80 : 360    \\  \\  \implies {\underline {\boxed {\blue {\sf {\:ratio \: of \: breadth \: to \: its \: perimeter =  2 : 9}}}}}

∴ The ratio of length to its breadth = 5 : 4

The ratio of breadth to it's perimeter = 2 : 9

ADDITIONAL INFO :-

 \sf \: (1) \: area \: of \: rectangle = length \times breadth \\  \\  \sf (2) \: perimeter \: of \: square = 4(side) \\  \\  \sf (3) \: area \: of \: square =  {(side)}^{2}  \\  \\  \sf  (4) \: perimeter \: of \: triangle = sum \: of measures \: of\: sides \\  \\  \sf( 5)area \: of \: triangle =  \frac{1}{2}  \times breadth \times height

Dimensions of rectangle = 100 cm × 80 cm

\large\underline\bold\green{To\:Find:-}

• Ratio of length to it's breadth

• Ratio of breadth to its perimeter

We have Dimensions of rectangle as 100 cm × 80 cm

From this -

Length = 100 cm

Breadth = 80 cm

Perimeter of a rectangle is :-

 \large  {\underline{\boxed {\bigstar{\green {\sf{ \: p = 2(l + b)}}}}}}

Where :-

• l \implies length

• b \implies breadth

 \implies \sf \: p = 2(100 + 80) \\  \\  \implies \sf \: p = 2(180) \\  \\  \implies  {\underline {\boxed {\orange{\sf {\: p = 360 \: cm}}}}}

(1) Ratio of length to its breadth

\sf \:ratio \: of \: length \: to \: its \: breadth     \sf \:  =  100 : 80   \\  \\  \implies {\underline {\boxed {\pink {\sf{ratio \: of \: length \: to \: its \: breadth = 5 :4}}}}}

Ratio of breadth to it's perimeter :-

 \sf \: ratio \: of \: breadth \: to \: its  \: perimeter = 80 : 360    \\  \\  \implies {\underline {\boxed {\blue {\sf {\:ratio \: of \: breadth \: to \: its \: perimeter =  2 : 9}}}}}

∴ The ratio of length to its breadth = 5 : 4

The ratio of breadth to it's perimeter \dashrightarrow 2 : 9
