We know that,
log a - log b = log(a/b)
Now,
log(x+4)-log(x-4)=log2
=>log[(x+4)/(x-4)]=log2
=>(x+4)/(x-4)=2
=>x+4=2(x-4)
=>x+4=2x-8
=>x-2x=-8-4
=>-x= -12
=>x=12
Hence,the value of x=12
