Do organic compounds have a high or low melting point? Why?

Organic compounds form covalent bonds and hence they have weak force of attraction.

Covalent compounds have weak forces of attraction between the binding molecules.Thus less energy is required to break the force of bonding.Therefore covalent compounds have low melting and boiling point.

This is because the atoms of elements between the covalent compounds are

made by sharing electrons.
